If you’re tired of receiving endless promotional messages from unknown companies that spreading their suspicious promotions and offers. and popping up in with un appropriate products or services. as they know about your life and assume you need their help! Well we finally found the solution. The UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) introduced a policy against mobile spam to protect residents from unwanted promotional SMS messages. The policy mandated telecom companies to provide customers with an option to block spam through an “opt-out” feature.

BLOCKING SPECIFIC SENDERS

To block a specific sender, open your messaging app, compose a new message, type “b” followed by a space and the sender ID or phone number, and send it to 7726.

BLOCKING PROMOTIONAL MESSAGES FROM TELECOM PROVIDERS

For du users, send a blank SMS to 5293 to opt out of promotional messages. For etisalat users, send “b etisalat” to 7726 to block promotional messages.

BLOCKING ALL THIRD-PARTY SENDERS

To block messages from all third-party senders, compose a new message, type “ball” in the recipient field, and send it to 7726.

ADDITIONAL COMMANDS

Send “GET” to 7726 to retrieve a list of all blocked sender IDs. Send “HELP” to access a list of available commands and instructions.

NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY

Register for the National Do Not Call Registry by sending an SMS with the text “DNCR” to 1012. This service blocks promotional calls and SMS messages from registered companies. By utilizing these steps and tools, mobile phone users in the UAE can take control and block unwanted promotional SMS messages.
